Along the southern part of Kvaglund there is a large green space, and further to the south you will find the Stengårdsvej area as well as Veldtofte and Novrup.
The northern part of Kvaglund is characterized by single-family homes arranged around common green areas as well as clustered housing. Kvaglund Center can be found in the suburb’s central common area. Kvaglund park includes ball fields and acts as a green oasis amongst the area’s apartment complexes and single family housing.

In Veldtofte, the popular EFI halls and Veldtofte Sports Park attract visitors from all around Esbjerg.
There are many communal activities in Kvaglund and on Stengårdsvej with rich possibilities to participate in the local community.
Kvaglund hall is a central hub together with the landowners association, church, library, Neighborhood Project 3 in 1 and the residents’ associations which hold ongoing events such as Kvaglund Day, Christmas Fest, Saint Hans Fest, Baby Bazaar, indoor flea markets, concerts and community dinners.
A number of strong international networks are located in Kvaglund, which are driven by the Cross Cultural Centre and Kvaglund Church, such as international men’s club, women meeting women, international bible study club, language café, and more.
